Loucos por Séries TV

American Dad é uma série repleta de humor subversivo que gira em torno de Stan Smith (voz de Seth MacFarlane), um agente da CIA destacado para Langley Falls, na Virginia. Stan é um especialista em armas e um orgulhoso chefe de família. A mulher de Stan Smith é a doce Francine Smith (voz de Wendy Schaal), que esconde cuidadosamente a sua faceta rebelde para agradar ao marido conservador.

Stan, por sua vez, entra constantemente em discussões com a filha de 18 anos, a ultra-liberal Hayley (voz de Rachel MacFarlane), que para entrar em casa vinda das aulas de Estudos Femininos tem de passar por um detector de metais e uma revista cuidada. Steve (voz de Scott Grimes) é o filho mais novo dos Smith: é um adolescente infeliz e marrão que parece estar numa luta desgastante com a puberdade e, por isso, sente-se tremendamente desconfortável com as suas borbulhas na cara.

A residência dos Smith é rodeada por duas personalidades poucos convencionais: Roger (voz de Seth MacFarlane), o alienígena sarcástico que Stan resgatou da Area 51 e que vive no sótão dos Smith, e ainda Klaus (voz de Dee Bradley Baker), um lascivo peixe dourado com a mentalidade de um homem alemão, resultado de uma experiência da CIA que correu mal.
